Abby: Practice Manager/Financial Coordinator
Abby has been part of the Helm Orthodontics team since its inception in 2010. With over a decade of dental office management experience, she is an expert at helping families with their financial or insurance questions and concerns. You will notice Abby’s caring and upbeat spirit when you walk through our door, and she has knack for making you feel right at home. Abby is a true Colorado native—born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She absolutely loves being “mom” to her three young children.
Bonni: Treatment Coordinator
Bonni has been a part of our team since 2015, and has learned all areas of the orthodontic practice, such as front desk, insurance, clinical assisting, and working with new patients. This makes Bonni very skilled at helping new patients understand the orthodontic process and the treatment plan options that Dr. Helm is recommending. Bonni is a natural at making you feel comfortable at your first visit and an expert at figuring out ways to make orthodontic treatment affordable for you. Bonni is also a mother herself, so she understands the challenges and sacrifices that parents face, and appreciates the privilege it is to work with families from our community.
Amber: Patient Coordinator
Amber has been the friendly face and voice at the Helm Orthodontics front desk since 2018. When you are in the office, you will experience her contagious smile and laughter that will have you laughing with her before you leave! From answering the phones to scheduling your appointments and everything in between, Amber will go the extra mile to make every aspect of your experience in our office enjoyable! What she loves most about Helm Orthodontics is getting to know what each patient is up to outside of the office, whether they participate in sports or are the class president. Amber is mother to 2 young children that light up her life and keep her busy.
Jessyca : Marketing/Patient Coordinator
Jessyca joined our team in 2022 and brought with her years of experience. She is one of the smiling faces and positive voices at our front desk and on the phone that is always eager to help. She loves helping patients through the smile transformation process because she has seen how it positively changes people’s lives, and that’s something exciting to be a part of! Jessica has lived most of her life in Denver, Colorado, and is a local graduate of our very own Montbello High School! When not at work, she is busy with her three young girls or you might find her doing acrylic nails, reading novels or hiking. Whether you speak English or Spanish, you will enjoy getting to know Jessyca and appreciate her willing attitude to help with your every need.
Dr. Helm’s clinical assisting team will help him with every step of creating your smile. You will work with Dr. Helm and one of his assistants at each of your appointments. All of his assistants are highly skilled and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of your orthodontic treatment, and will keep you informed every step of the way. They take pride in their work, and are inspired by the beautiful smiles they are able to help Dr. Helm achieve for our patients. Each of them love the relationships they are able to build with our patients and their families.
Mariela: Ortho Tech (Bilingual)
Mariela has been a part of our team since 2017. She graduated from Heritage College Dental Assisting program. Mariela loves watching her patients’ smile transform every visit and is known for her positive attitude and outstanding communication with patients and parents. She loves spending time with her husband, her spontaneous little girl, and her dog, Rocky.
Melisa: Ortho Tec (Bilingual)
Melisa has been a part of our team since 2018. She grew up in Denver and graduated from the Colorado School of Dental Assisting. Melisa loves getting to know her patients and seeing their happiness once they’ve reached the finish line of their treatment. She is best known for remembering every one of her patients and building relationships with them all. Melisa loves being “mom” to her baby boy and her two fur babies, Lyla and Buzz.
Alondra: Ortho Tech (Bilingual)
Alondra has been a part of our team since 2021. She started at the front desk and has transitioned into clinical care of patients as one of Dr. Helm’s assistants. She loves getting to know and provide care for patients and has enjoyed learning more of the technical side of helping patients with their braces. She is a local, having grown up in Denver, Colorado, and outside of work you might find her flipping furniture, working out, taking care of her many animals and spending time with her husband. Bet you didn’t know that Alondra was an amateur boxer for seven years!
